In the history of 3D, conversion has never had good results. Then again in the history of Star Wars, prequels have never had good results, so maybe it’s fitting.
star wars fans need to sue Lucas and emancipate the concept from him before he does any further damage… or better yet, lets do a reboot of the franchise back to when there were only three and have talented people write a script.
In my naive youth, the thought of rebooting the franchise was akin to letting a gritty Jabba have his way with me in the desert. Now, I’m like Ben Affleck waiting for the day Matt Damon finally leaves without saying goodbye. The only question is, who will play the part of Will Hunting?
In between all those jumbled metaphors lies the hope that not only will Lucas allow a reboot, but that they will be superior to the originals in every way. And if they lead to a great Fanboy war that spills over into the normal populace that brings about a post-apocalyptic future we are so used to seeing in hundreds of movies, so be it.

The comic mirrors my feelings exactly.
